My Untitled series of oil paintings are intended to quiet the mind and evoke feeling. The compositions are based on cropped sections from images of nature creating an abstract, ethereal effect. The intent is to quiet our rational thoughts and invite a more emotional, subconscious response. My hope is to create an experience that envelops viewers with a sense of calm, rest and expansiveness.
