The ability to relate to one another is part of our human condition. We make connections with others and recognize similarities in our lives very naturally. This is the starting point for why I create my work.

My observations of everyday human experiences are of deep interest. My work attempts to illustrate the subtle shifts and changes in our lives that we rarely make time to explore.

I live and work in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with my husband and two sons. When I am not renovating our home, building Legos, cooking meals, fixing boo-boos, folding laundry or reading stories, I am trying to make art…trying to relate.
